For parents and carers
Ofsted Parent View gives parents and carers the chance to tell Ofsted what you think of your child’s school, including:
- whether your child feels safe, happy and able to belong and thrive at the school
- how the school promotes positive behaviour and a culture where every pupil can achieve and feel respected
If your child has special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND), we will ask how well the school supports them.
If the school has boarding or residential provision, we will ask if your child is a boarder. If your child is a boarder, we will ask you a few questions about the boarding or residential provision.
You can complete an Ofsted Parent View survey:
- at any time
- for an inspection — the school will contact you about this
We will use your responses to help us plan inspections. The information you provide can:
- inform discussions inspectors have with school leaders during an inspection
- help Ofsted decide when to inspect a school
For further uses of your responses see terms of use and the frequently asked questions.
We also publish the overall summary of the responses to Ofsted Parent View. This information is anonymised.
